NEWZ
- Following the end of "The Year We Make Contact," Kyle Hayden spent many hours with the Saskatoon police investigating the attempted hit-and-run on Leon Corella. The result of which, Hayden handed disciple of Mike Foyer over to the Deputy Commissioner Kevin "Satan" Alloy, who sentenced Foyer to death by immolation. Hayden then rightly pointed out that Foyer wouldn't learn anything by lighting him on fire, so the Devil modified his fine to "temporary confiscation of entrance music." Foyer will be without his theme song until further notice.
- As for Leon Corella's attack on American Freebear, Hayden has directed both combatants to settle it in the ring.
- As an offer of goodwill (and unofficially, to stick it to him one last time), the DCWL has retained Derrick L. Ford on the reserve roster, rather than outright release him. DEPUSH'D!
- The first response to Jackson Hunter's challenge to win the blank DCWL contract has been accepted. At "Contains Spoilers," Jackson Hunter will take on 'Something Better' Wolf Masterson. Maurice Thompson has also taken an interest, blank contract or no, and so Jackson Hunter will face Maurice Thompson at Show #12, "The Devil Wear Lycra."
- Our next show, "Contains Spoilers," will be held at the Klezskavanian Social Club Society of Seattle. Attendance is expected to be small, but the Klezskavanians are paying top dollar to be in the audience (rich obtained from petro dollars and bootleg DVDs) and the house take is expected to be huge. We have been generously granted the venue on the condition we respect the customs and traditions of the Klezskavania people. Klezskavanians are notoriously superstitious: they consider the color gold to be bad luck, heavy makeup is a sign of being a gypsy, they believe in werewolves, vampires, zombies, physical manifestations of the devil, etc. Noted Klezskavania diplomat Leo Van Tantamount will be attendance and he will be in consultation with DCWL management. Baron Von Tantamount will also be offering dowries to the fathers of the members of the Sirens division.
GNUS
- Instituting a new rule! One oncard per character per show. If you want an exception, explain why you need two segments rather than one. Also, remember the theme of this show: Klezskavanian superstition and culture. Use your imagination.
- You may have noticed some of the on-screen stuff for the last four matches of the last show were different. This is because I wanted to experiment with a new program to try and squeeze some more quality out of the videos. As you can see, it's not much different, so I'm looking in to alternatives to Viddler and YouTube.
- "Cornerstone Revolution" is, traditionally, the big mother of DCWL events, so let's live up to the big name. We're going to have less matches against opponents like "The Great Atma" and more against your fellow players. And after this event, we may go on hiatus for a short time, so let's make the next few months count!
ROSTER
- Derrick L. Ford has been removed from the main roster to the reserve roster.
