First look at new roster members!

Making his debut in the DCWL at "Drink Black Hole Brew" is "Dark Angel" Joshua Curtis. Dark Angel stands six feet even and weighs in at 215 pounds and is noted for his proficiency in wrestling a multitude of styles. Curtis, a former GCWA Cruiserweight Champion, hails from Tokyo, Japan... and his opponent at "Drink Black Hole Brew" claims to be from the same region. Angel and Atma will collide on Wednesday, November 25, 2009!

















And who is this lime green wearing pink chap with pecs like melons and knees of fringe? Drake Tungsten, that's who! Drake was there in the American Grappling Alliance in the great wrestlong boom of the 80s. (Not everyone agrees that he played a pivotal role in the boom, but he's riding that wave for all he's worth.) Tungsten looks pretty good considering he's hovering just above or below the age of 50. Don't let his tiny head and broken down balloon-like body fool you: he's uncannily strong, and his jumping double knee drop has served him well for nearly three decades.

Final Team drawn for Ark of Triocalypse

Earlier today, the last three single wrestlers selected for the Ark of Triocalypse Trio Tournament. They are:

• Maurice "The Native" Thompson! Hottest prospect on the roster!
• B.A. Jive! Old school meets new school!
• The Great Atma! HE'S NOT ALTON WEST!

Thompson is a huge entrant in the tournament, although he may have his work cut out for him. B.A. Jive is a former Dangerous Champion, although he is under .500 in the record books. And suppose The Great Atma... ahem... pulls double duty in the tournament.

As of the time of this writing the field for the tournament at Ark of Triocalypse looks like this:

We're just a month away from Ark of Triocalypse, but there are still people looking to get into the tournament, and the field is subject to change. Complete Control still have feelers out, and neither Shootfire Pro Wrestling, nor Spirit of Wrestling have named their entrants yet. As well, the NJWF has reported interest in joining the tournament, although which team would be willing to give up their slot?

Two *more* teams drawn for Ark of Triocalypse

Two more squad created in the lottery for the Ark of Triocalypse Tournament. The first:

• Caleb Brantseg! Muscular nephew of pseudo-journalist Dan Clear!
  
• Logan "Sledge" Braddock! Veteran competitor with a diverse arsenal!
  
• Gabrielle RioPaah! Feminist Annoyed Samoan!
  

Obviously Sledge is a solid prospect, but what of Brantseg and RioPaah? RioPaah has been in Trio competition and has held her own, but Brantseg is untested.

The second drawing is another wild card mix:

• Drake Tungsten! DCWL newcomer!
• "Dark Angel" Josh Curtis! Japanese all-rounder!
• Ozzie Emshamo! Giant Annoyed Samoan!

Neither Tungsten or Curtis have yet made their in-ring debut for the DCWL, although sharp eyed fans will recognize "Dark Angel" as a champion in previous federations, not to mention his stunning top rope powerbomb, "The Crucifixion." Even sharper-eyed fans will recognize Drake Tungsten as that has-been from the eighties. And what of Ozzie? In his own words, "spaghetti."

Two more teams drawn for Ark of Triocalypse

The Trio team lottery continues. One team is an absolute monster...

• Mike Anderson! Undefeated in the DCWL!
• The Big Nasty! The 7' 2" powerhouse!
• Offramp Alebua! The 400+ pound Annoyed Samoan!

These three individuals will make a formidable force, but as the old saying goes, "chemistry is everything." Will Mike Anderson and The Big Nasty co-exist? Will Offramp be treated as an equal?

The other team drawn is more technical/speed oriented.

• Max Turbo! The unlikely champion from Japan!
• Brian Irwin! English wrestling legend!
• Alton West! Alleged Greatest Athlete Who Ever Lived!

Commissioner Hayden has encouraged all teams to register a name for themselves leading up to the event, and so Alton West has already dubbed his Trio the "Age of the Fail." Brian Irwin later contacted the DCWL offices and pointed out the typo, but Mr. West prefers that people not correct him.
